Bungendore. / 35.25000°S 149.45000°E / -35.25000; 149.45000. Bungendore is a town in the Queanbeyan Region of New South Wales, Australia, in Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council. It is on the Kings Highway near Lake George, the Molonglo River Valley and the Australian Capital Territory border.
Occupation. Sculptor. John Morris (born 1963) is an Australian sculptor. Born in England, his family moved to Australia in 1966. After the Diploma of Arts (1983) at Queensland College of Graphic Design he started working as freelance illustrator. In the following years he approached the art of sculpting with polyester resin and wax technique.

André Jacob Roubo (1739–1791) was a French carpenter, cabinetmaker and author. Roubo was born and died in Paris, and was the son and grandson of master cabinetmakers. Roubo wrote several highly influential books on woodworking, an achievement which was especially notable given his relatively poor background and self-taught methods.

Bungendore railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the Bombala line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the town of Bungendore. The design of the station has been attributed to John Whitton. It was built in 1884-85 by contractor J. Jordan. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. [1]
