Oct 12, 2021. Hi deepak, There isn't an option to export a Google Earth web project as a kmz file. You can open the exported kml file in Google Earth Pro and then save it as kmz, but images, for example, will be missing. You can send feedback to Google about this via the option in the menu (three lines top left) in Google Earth web.

Hi Samuel, It's my understanding that images you add to a kml or project in the mobile or web interface are not stored as images, but as base64 encoded images. If you open the kml file you exported on your computer with a program like Notepad++, you will see the code between the <gx:ImageUrl> and </gx:ImageUrl> tags.
