Shane Michael Gillis (born December 11, 1987) is an American stand-up comedian, actor and podcaster known for his Netflix comedy specials and series Tires. Gillis co-hosts, along with fellow stand-up comedian Matt McCusker, Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast , the most subscribed-to podcast on Patreon as of 2024.
Gillis was born June 24, 1962, in Baton Rouge and was raised in southern Louisiana. He was the son of Yvonne and Norman Gillis. His father abandoned the family soon after his birth. Gillis was raised by his mother and his grandparents. [2] His rap sheet began in 1980 when he was 17 years old, with minor infractions.
