College Station Independent School District is a public school district based in College Station, Texas, United States. Its boundary includes almost all of College Station. [6] In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. [7]
Lenape High School opened in September 1958 with 548 students in 9th and 10th grades only, before which students from Medford, Medford Lakes and Tabernacle Township had attended Rancocas Valley Regional High School. [13] By the 1961-62 school year, Lenape was on double sessions with approximately 1,500 students.
The opening of Seneca High School allowed enrollment levels at Lenape High School and Shawnee High School to decrease, helping to alleviate the overcrowding both schools had experienced. Based on the number of students who opted to switch to Seneca, the school's first graduating class in 2005 was expected to consist of 150 students. [11]

The district serves students in eastern Burleson County. Snook ISD is located approximately 15 minutes from Texas A&M University in a primarily agriculture-based community. This makes the area a prime location for residing and attending school. As of 2023 the district has about 60 teachers and over 600 students.
