Highland Lake [1] is a 697-acre (2.82 km 2) [2] water body located in Sullivan and Cheshire counties in southwestern New Hampshire, United States, in the towns of Washington and Stoddard. The lake has two outlets. The north outlet feeds Shedd Brook, while the south outlet flows through Island Pond to the North Branch of the Contoocook River.

Nubanusit Lake is a 718-acre (2.91 km 2) lake located on the border between Cheshire and Hillsborough counties in southwestern New Hampshire, United States, in the towns of Nelson and Hancock. The outlet of the lake is Nubanusit Brook , a tributary of the Contoocook River in the Merrimack River drainage basin .
Fish present in the lake include bream, tench, pike, roach as well as some breeds of carp. [citation needed] Wild swimming in Hatchmere has been banned by the lakes owners since November 2019. Pickmere is a village and civil parish near Knutsford in the Borough of Cheshire East. It has a population of 541 (2001 Census). [ 1 ] Landmarks in and around the village include a lake, Pick Mere, at grid reference SJ682770 .
Rostherne Mere is a natural lake in Cheshire, England. It is the largest of the Cheshire meres with an area of 48 hectares (120 acres) and a maximum depth of 30 metres (98 ft). [ 2 ] [ 3 ] It lies north of Rostherne village and south of the M56 motorway .
