The Catamount Outdoor Family Center is the non-profit steward of the Catamount Community Forest, a town owned forest on Governor Chittenden Road in Williston, Vermont.The more than 400-acre (160 ha) property includes trails for a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
The multi-purpose Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail was developed by the National Park Service and is the major trail through Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The trail traverses almost 21 mi (34 km) from Rockside Road in Independence in the north to Summit County's Bike & Hike trail in the south, following the Cuyahoga River for much of its length.

The old Poma Summit Triple lift was moved to Catamount Mountain Resort in Egremont, Massachusetts. In 2023, the ski area added a Leitner-Poma high-speed detachable quad chairlift. The lift was named the T-Bar Express in honor of a removed T-Bar surface lift that ran along the same area of the Competition trail.
