Pennsylvania Route 240 (PA 240) is an 8.5-mile-long (13.7 km) state highway located in Indiana and Cambria counties in Pennsylvania. The western terminus is at PA 286 in Commodore. The eastern terminus is at U.S. Route 219 (US 219) near Cherry Tree.

On license plates, county codes 93, 95, and 97-99 were also used for Marion County in addition to 49. 94 and 96 were used for Lake County in addition to 45. Pennsylvania Route 954 (PA 954) is a 35-mile-long (56 km) state highway located in Indiana County, Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at PA 56 in Center Township. The northern terminus is at PA 210 in North Mahoning Township. PA 954 is a two-lane undivided road that serves Indiana, Creekside, Plumville, and Smicksburg.
The township was originally included as part of the larger Armstrong township in Westmoreland County on March 12, 1800. The Pennsylvania legislature established Indiana County on March 30, 1803 and concurrently formed Conemaugh township from part of Armstrong township, however Indiana County was not legally organized until November 3, 1806 and Conemaugh township not organized until 1807.
