The Innovations Big Air canister works well for mountain bikes, as it fills two 26" tires, so even if you have some problems, it ought to at least fill one completely. He often ends up dealing with walmart quality bikes and bikes that are decades old. The Giant bikes he sells are fairly low end. I remember him promoting some mountain bikes he had in stock, not Giant possibly Diamondback a few years ago and god they looked awful with freewheels instead of cassettes and not really fit for purpose in my eyes.
I have two inexpensive ("cheap") Walmart mountain bikes. On both bikes the Dynagrip Falcon shifters won't shift or shift with extreme difficulty. The derailleurs seem to be fine because I can pull the metal cable at the destination and the mechanics move pretty easily. So, I think the problem is either in the controllers or cabling.
