Mystic Stamp Company is an American, employee-owned stamp dealer founded in 1923 by Lawrence K. Shaver (1903 – September 23, 1990). [1] The company is headquartered where it was founded, in Camden, New York. It specializes in the buying and selling of postage stamps, collecting supplies, and other philatelic items.
Robert A. Siegel (January 1, 1913 – December 3, 1993), of New York City, was an auctioneer of philatelic material, particularly rare postage stamps and covers. The company he founded still exists and still bears his name.

In 1890 Phillips purchased Stanley Gibbons & Co. [1] for £25,000. It had first been offered to Theodor Buhl for £20,000. [2] Phillips wrote numerous philatelic articles, including those published in The Gibbons Monthly Journal, The Stamp Advertiser and Auction Record and the Gibbons Stamp Weekly where he wrote articles on various collections he had helped build or sold.
