UC Merced announced it would be leaving the Cal Pac and the NAIA to join the NCAA Division II ranks and the CCAA, beginning the 2025–26 academic year. 2024 Antelope Valley left the Cal Pac during the 2023–24 academic year as the school suddenly closed after an order from the state of California to cease operations.
