Bini (stylized in all caps; formerly Star Hunt Academy Girls or SHA Girls) is a Filipino girl group formed in 2019 through ABS-CBN's Star Hunt Academy (SHA).The group is composed of eight members: Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena.
The Filipino girl group Bini has recorded materials for two studio albums and one extended play (EP). Although most of their songs are written by songwriters, the group members are sometimes involved in the songwriting process, with Bini member Colet writing the song "8", which was originally a graduation song she wrote during her high school years.
Sheena Mae Catacutan was born on May 9, 2004. [2] She grew up with her single mother and her brother. Her mother died in 2020 during her trainee days. [3] Her grandparents and brother live in Santiago, Isabela, where she was born and raised. [4]
The album rose to the charts immediately after its release, topping the iTunes Album Chart in the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Thailand. [10] On July 22, 2022, Bini collaborated with Coca-Cola for the sixth season of Coke Studio Philippines. Biniverse is the first concert tour by the Filipino girl group Bini.The tour began in June 2024, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City, Philippines.Following the initial concert shows, Bini held a regional tour across the Philippines in July, followed by an overseas tour in Canada in August.
Mikha participated in the Star Magic All-Star Games volleyball competitions in 2023 and 2024, both held at the Araneta Coliseum.In 2023, she played as a setter for the Lady Setters team, which she finished as the 1st runner-up and was recognized as part of the Mythical Six selection, receiving the Best Setter award.
