The Cape San Blas Light is a lighthouse in the state of Florida in the United States. Four different structures were built between 1849 and 1885 to house the light. It was located at Cape San Blas in the northwestern part of the state.
The first, built in 1847, collapsed during a gale on August 23–24 of 1851. On May 1, 1858, a third lighthouse was completed.
A lighthouse was finally successfully erected on Rebecca Shoal in 1886. It was a 1 + 1 ⁄ 2-story square house set on high pilings. During bad weather, it was often impossible to land supplies or keepers at the lighthouse. The lighthouse withstood several hurricanes throughout the years.
