"Jam" is a song by American singer Michael Jackson, released in July 1992 by Epic as the fourth single from his eighth album, Dangerous (1991), where it is the opening track. "Jam" is a new jack swing song whose bridge features a rap verse performed by Heavy D (of the group Heavy D & the Boyz ).
"Town Called Malice" was the Jam's third number-one single in the UK. According to the Official Charts Company it was the 10th best-selling single of 1982 in the UK. [ 13 ] It was the band's sole entry on any mainstream American chart when it hit No. 31 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in 1982.
"Getto Jam" is a song performed by American rapper Domino. It was released on November 16, 1993 through Outburst Records as the lead single from his debut studio album Domino . Written by Domino and DJ Battlecat , it was recorded at Skip Saylor in Hollywood and produced by Battlecat with co-production from Domino.
"Down in the Tube Station at Midnight" is a single by the Jam, and was the second single from their third album, All Mod Cons. Released in October 1978, it reached No. 15 on the UK Singles Chart. [1] The single was backed by a cover version of the Who's song "So Sad About Us", and the song "The Night", written by Bruce Foxton.
"That's Entertainment" is a 1980 song by British punk-mod revivalist group the Jam from their fifth album, Sound Affects. Although never released as a domestic single in the UK during the band's lifetime, "That's Entertainment" nonetheless charted as an import single (backed by a live version of "Down in the Tube Station at Midnight"), peaking at No. 21. [1]
It was released on July 11, 2013 as a digital download as the lead single from their tenth studio album Lightning Bolt. [3] [4] Writing for The Globe and Mail, Brad Wheeler said the song was "lean, swift and punishing". [5] Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready said "It's my attempt to try to make a really hard edge-type Dead Kennedys-sounding song".
