Nemesio “Nemi” R. Miranda Jr. (born 1949), also known as Nemiranda, is a Filipino painter and sculptor in Angono, Rizal. He gained fame as the forerunner the art form “Imaginative Figurism”. He has a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. He is the father of modern artist Keiye Miranda.
Manuel Baldemor is a Filipino painter, sculptor, printmaker, writer and book illustrator. He was born on March 26, 1947, in Paete, Laguna, Philippines.. He is best known for his paintings on various media that depict scenes in simplified geometric forms with a folk art character.
Education. Born to a family of artists, Galicano studied painting under his uncle, the Cebuano realist master Martino Abellana from 1961–1965 . In 1965 Galicano arrived in Manila and took up fine arts at the University of the East where he apprenticed under abstract painter Florencio Concepcion who taught him abstract design.
