The Convent of the Epiphany, Truro, Cornwall, UK, was the home of the Community of the Epiphany (1883–2001). The founder of this community was George Wilkinson, Bishop of Truro. [1] The sisters were involved in pastoral and educational work, the care of Truro Cathedral and St Paul's Church, and church needlework.
The church was designed by the Rev'd William Haslam.It was consecrated on 5 October 1855 by Henry Phillpotts, Bishop of Exeter [2]. The church was preceded by a temporary church built of wood which was the work of Mr. White, an architect and parishioner; it was opened on 23 April 1848 with a church service well attended by local clergy and lay people.
