Foxtel Now (formerly Foxtel Play) is an Australian internet television service which offers subscriptions to over 50 live channels and hundreds of video on-demand titles. The service is owned by Foxtel , and officially launched on 11 August 2013 as Foxtel Play.
The service launched November 2010 with 30+ channels and an additional 12 Video-on-demand channels. It also provided Foxtel's movie service, known as Foxtel On Demand, to non-subscribers for the first time on a pay-per-view basis. Further linear channels were added in April 2011 with the addition of 7 Telstra BigPond channels.
Foxtel Now – an Australian streaming and catch up service by Foxtel, launched in 2009 to Foxtel subscribers under another name [8] and then again to non-Foxtel subscribers in 2013.
