Chris Farlowe (born John Henry Deighton, 13 October 1940) [1] is an English rock, blues and soul singer. He is best known for his hit single "Out of Time" written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, which rose to No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart in 1966, [2] and his association with bands Atomic Rooster, the Thunderbirds and Colosseum.
At this time, Palmer also did his first session work, playing on the song "Love Light" by the Chants, a group from Liverpool. The Art of Chris Farlowe is the third 1966 album by British singer Chris Farlowe, featuring his band the Thunderbirds, but only credited to him. Andrew Loog Oldham produced the recording sessions with Mick Jagger. The album includes four songs composed by Jagger along with Keith Richards. The album was reissued in 1992, featuring 11 bonus tracks.
Hungary for the Blues is the third live album by blues singer Chris Farlowe, released in 2006 (see 2006 in music). This album is a recording of two performances by Farlowe.
