The Dooleys were a British male–female pop group comprising at its peak eight members – six of them in the Dooley family. The group achieved several UK chart hits between 1977 and 1981, including top-ten hits " Wanted ", "Love of My Life" and "The Chosen Few".

By mid 1979, The Dooleys had scored six hit singles in the UK. The latest single, "Wanted" was the biggest hit of their career and so GTO Records released a compilation containing all the singles so far. [1] The album proved to be a success - the biggest of the group's career, peaking at No.6 in the album charts. [2]
Soon after the release of the album, the group's younger sister, Helen Dooley joined the line-up, after having contributed to the writing of one of this album's tracks. [ 8 ] Dooleys was released on Compact disc for the first time on 14 September 2009 in a double-pack with The Chosen Few .
This was the group's third studio album and featured the singles "Love Patrol", "Body Language" and "In a Riddle". As well as this, top 10 hit "Chosen Few" was added to the album, despite it being featured on the group's previous album, The Chosen Few.
