Our Lady of Good Voyage, also known as the Seaport Shrine, is a Roman Catholic church located at 51 Seaport Boulevard in the Seaport District of Boston and in the Archdiocese of Boston. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] The shrine has 250 seats and holds Mass twice daily and three times on Sundays.
The shrine is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. [4] Pope Pius XII raised the shrine to the status of Minor Basilica via his Pontifical Decree Ornatur Urbs et Archidiocesis on September 8, 1954, which was signed and notarized by the Grand Chancellor of Apostolic Briefs, Monsignor Gildo Brugnola.
