Description: This is the old Hotel Carolina, located on Main Street in my hometown of Sylva, North Carolina. Originally constructed as a two-story structure 2/3rds the width of the current building before 1920, the building was expanded during the 1920s with the addition of an additional section, as well as a third floor, which made it the largest hotel in the town for many years.
