The European Journal of Neuroscience is a biweekly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering all aspects of neuroscience. It was established in 1989 with Ray Guillery (then at the University of Oxford) as the founding editor-in-chief. [1] The current editors-in-chief are John J. Foxe (University of Rochester) and Yoland Smith (Emory University).
He was co-editor-in-chief of the European Journal of Neuroscience with Professor J. Paul Bolam from 2014 until 2020. Since 2020, he has been editor-in-chief of the journal. He was also co-editor in chief of Frontiers in Human Neuroscience from 2014 to 2015.

The federation was founded in 1998 to coordinate and present at the European level the research of members of national and European neuroscience societies. It succeeded the European Neuroscience Association. FENS federates 44 member societies and 5 associate member societies, representing around 23,000 scientists. [1] [2]
