KTHV 11 Ceased operations in 1954 due to financial difficulties stemming from the loss of its CBS affiliation to KATV. KATV 7: 1953-1955 ABC Lost CBS affiliation upon the sign-on of KTHV due to KTHV's then-sister station KTHS's affiliation with the CBS Radio Network. KATV's secondary affiliation with ABC then became its primary affiliation.
