The LaserJet 4000 series printers print letter paper at 17 pages per minute, and can be set to print at 600 dpi or 1200 dpi, although when set to print at true 1200 dpi, the printer runs at reduced speed.
It offered 10 ppm, an HP Instant-on fuser, 600 dpi with HP REt boosting output effectively to 1200 dpi, a 2.5-cent cost per page, and a 7,000-page monthly duty cycle.
