Kahani Chandrakanta Ki is a TV adaptation of the novel which was broadcast in 2011 on Sahara One, by director Sunil Agnihotri. The story was very different from the novel. Rajendra Yadav (28 August 1929 – 28 October 2013) was a Hindi fiction writer, and a pioneer of the 'Nayi Kahani' movement of Hindi literature. He edited the literary magazine HANS, which was founded by Munshi Premchand in 1930 but ceased publication in 1953 – Yadav relaunched it on 31 July 1986, (Premchand's Birthday).
He started his career with the Patliputra Times, a daily Hindi newspaper of Bihar. He has been awarded degree of Ph.D. from Patna University, Patna, on the topic : (Sahityakaron ke Jivan par adhrit Hindi Upanyason me jivani ke tatwa evam aupanyasik Kalpana). In 1990, Mishra left his job, and joined as a lecturer of Hindi at Magadh University. [1]
