The Theatre of Living Arts (known commonly as the TLA) is a concert venue that is located on South Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The venue, which opened in 1988, dates back to the early 1900s as a nickelodeon. Over the years, the venue has seen many incarnations ranging from concert hall to movie theatre to theatre.
The theater was completed in 1978, replacing the Long Beach Municipal Auditorium, which had been demolished in 1975. [1] The theater accommodates a wide variety of events including local performances, church services, dance competitions, beauty pageants, Broadway touring productions, industrial conventions, symphony performances, and operas.

The convention moved from the Los Angeles Airport Marriott to the Ontario Convention Center in 2016. [5] This move was made to accommodate the convention's growth.
