Dodoma Region (Mkoa wa Dodoma in Swahili) is one of Tanzania's 31 administrative regions. The regional capital is the city of Dodoma . Dodoma is located in central Tanzania, bordered by Singida region to the west, Manyara region to the north, Iringa region to the south, and Morogoro region to the east.
Kondoa District is one of the seven districts of the Dodoma Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by Manyara Region, and to the south by Chemba District. Its district capital is the town of Kondoa. According to the 2012 Tanzania National Census, the population of Kondoa District was 269,704. [1]
The population count as of 2022 was recorded as 3,085,625 in Dodoma region of 41,311 km 2, while Dodoma city increased from 410,956 in 2012 to 765,179 in 2022, covering 2,607 km 2, or annual rate of 6.4% in ten years. [14]

Chamwino is an administrative ward in the Dodoma Urban district of the Dodoma Region of Tanzania. In 2016 the Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics report there were 20,840 people in the ward, from 19,175 in 2012. [2] [1]
