HCL Technologies Limited (d/b/a HCLTech) is an Indian multinational information technology (IT) consulting company headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Founded by Shiv Nadar , it was spun out in 1991 when HCL entered into the software services business.
He is a member of the boards of directors of ICF International, Stryker Corporation, and T-Mobile US, all in the US, and of IIM Calcutta. [6] He previously served on the boards of IIM Ahmedabad , [ 7 ] HCL Technologies (2012 to 2014) and KPIT Technologies (2007 to 2012), both based in India.
He was the founder and chairman of HCL Technologies, and is chairman of the Shiv Nadar Foundation.
