The London Borough of Hounslow and its council were created under the London Government Act 1963, with the first election held in 1964.For its first year the council acted as a shadow authority alongside the area's three outgoing authorities, being the borough councils of Brentford and Chiswick and Heston and Isleworth and the urban district council of Feltham.
Kingsley Academy (formerly Hounslow Manor School) is an 11–18 mixed, secondary school and sixth form with academy status in Hounslow, Greater London, England. It is part of the Academies Enterprise Trust .
Villiers High School is a co-educational 11–18 school and sixth form in the Southall area of the west London borough of Ealing. The school is situated in Boyd Avenue, in the heart of Southall. Christopher Richards was appointed Headteacher in September 2023. as of 2022 it has around 1,500 pupils on roll, 250 of whom are in the sixth form. [1]
