Howard Stanley Beverly (December 6, 1946 – September 10, 2024), known as Frankie Beverly, was an American singer, songwriter, and producer known primarily for his recordings with the soul and funk band Maze. [1] He formed Maze, originally called Raw Soul, in his hometown of Philadelphia in 1970.
Frankie Beverly, went on to release nine gold albums from the late 1970s to early 1990s, including hits like "Joy and Pain," "We Are One," "Can't Get Over You" and "Golden Time of Day."
