Buxted Park is an 84.7 hectare (206.16 acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest, located near the village of Buxted, East Sussex, England. [1] [2] The main house is just over 0.5 km northeast of the town of Uckfield. The site was notified in 1989 under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
Buxted Park is now a country house hotel, owned by Hand Picked Hotels around which there are some lovely walks. The wholesale Buxted Chickens had a factory in Buxted as well as one in Five Ash Down. Buxted Chickens was founded by Antony Fisher , who also founded the Institute of Economic Affairs .
John Leopold Denman FRIBA (15 November 1882 – 5 June 1975) was an architect from the English seaside resort of Brighton, now part of the city of Brighton and Hove.He had a prolific career in the area during the 20th century, both on his own and as part of the Denman & Son firm in partnership with his son John Bluet Denman.
It was floated on the Alternative Investment Market in 2007 [3] and it signed a contract to open 20 hotels in Russia in 2008. [ 4 ] In 2010, it opened a c.1,000-bedroom Park Plaza Hotel at Westminster Bridge in London [ 5 ] and, in 2013, it opened a 107-bedroom art’otel branded hotel in Amsterdam . [ 6 ]

Pevensey Levels is a 3,603.2-hectare (8,904-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest between Bexhill-on-Sea and Hailsham in East Sussex. [1] [2] It is a Nature Conservation Review site, Grade I, [3] a Ramsar site [4] and a Special Area of Conservation. [5]
