Satoru Gojo (Japanese: 五条 悟, Hepburn: Gojō Satoru) is a character from Gege Akutami's manga Jujutsu Kaisen. He was first introduced in Akutami's short series Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School as the mentor of the cursed teenager Yuta Okkotsu at Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School.
An unexpected "Special Grade" Cursed Spirit attacks them. Yuji stays back to buy time while Megumi rescues Nobara and escapes. Yuji's left hand is torn off by the spirit, so he unleashes Sukuna to fight. Sukuna swiftly kills the Special Grade, regenerates Yuji's hand, and reclaims one of his fingers that was powering the curse.
Satoru Gojo claims he can beat a fully-restored Sukuna, but the latter has expressed a desire to kill him, and his power is such that all other Cursed Spirits are attempting to restore him. When Yuji is fed ten of Sukuna's fingers at once at Shibuya, Sukuna comes out and commits mass murder at Shibuya, while fighting Mahoraga.
The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, to which Yuji becomes host. The first season was produced by MAPPA and directed by Sunghoo Park.

King Gnu performed the two theme songs. Given the large budget for the movie, MAPPA aimed to make more appealing fight sequences than the ones from the animated television series.
While the standard edition features a cover of two hands touching one another, the first press edition front and back covers show Jujutsu Kaisen character Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto instead. Anichoice praised the design of the cover. [2] The title track "Where Our Blue Is" was pre-released as a single worldwide on July 7, 2023. [3]
