The American car company Chrysler has produced many different models of cars under the brand name. In addition to Chrysler models built in the United States, the list also includes vehicles manufactured in other countries and cars designed by other independent corporations that were rebranded for Chrysler.
In early 2007, Lithia developed plans to build a 60-acre (240,000 m 2) auto mall north of downtown Medford and to build a new corporate headquarters in downtown Medford. The Chrysler Jeep Dodge store moved to the auto mall in September 2007, but the project was put on hold for seven years because the recession hit shortly after.

The cars were trimmed similarly to the 1960 Fireflite. The final decision to discontinue DeSoto was announced on November 18, 1960, just 47 days after the 1961 models were introduced. At the time, Chrysler warehouses contained several million dollars in 1961 DeSoto parts, so the company ramped up production in order to use up the stock.
Chrysler was founded by Walter Chrysler on June 6, 1925, [1] when the Maxwell Motor Company (est. 1904) was re-organized into the Chrysler Corporation. [2]Walter Chrysler had originally arrived at the ailing Maxwell-Chalmers company in the early 1920s, having been hired to take over and overhaul the company's troubled operations just after a similar rescue job at the Willys car company.
