Valenzuela (/ ˌ v æ l ən zj u ˈ ɛ l ə /, Tagalog: [valensˈwela]), officially the City of Valenzuela (Filipino: Lungsod ng Valenzuela), is a highly urbanized city in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 714,978 people.
Valenzuela's 1st congressional district is one of the two congressional districts of the Philippines in the city of Valenzuela. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2001. [ 3 ]
