Cadott is located at (44.948515, -91.151304 [7]According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has an area of 3.38 square miles (8.75 km 2), of which 3.31 square miles (8.57 km 2) is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 km 2) is water.
Located in western Wisconsin, the district comprises the eastern half of Eau Claire County and part of southeast Chippewa County. It includes the downtown and the east side of the city of Eau Claire , along with the cities of Altoona and Augusta , and the villages of Cadott , Fairchild , and Fall Creek .
It consists of 17 schools from west central Wisconsin, located between the Eau Claire – Chippewa Falls metropolitan area and the Wisconsin Rapids-Marshfield, WI Micropolitan Statistical Area. It was formed in 1927-1928 with five members: Boyd High School, Cadott High School, Owen High School, Stanley High School, and Thorp High School.

The 1988 Wisconsin Badgers football team represented the University of Wisconsin–Madison as a member of the Big Ten Conference during the 1988 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by second-year head coach Don Morton , the Badgers compiled an overall record of 1–10 with a mark of 1–7 in conference play, placing ninth in the Big Ten.
