The 2024 Thomas & Uber Cup (officially known as the TotalEnergies BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2024 for sponsorship reasons) was the 33rd edition of the Thomas Cup and the 30th edition of the Uber Cup, the biennial international badminton championship contested by the men and women's national teams of the member associations of Badminton World Federation (BWF).
The 2024 Thomas Cup group stage was held at the Chengdu High-tech Zone Sports Center Gymnasium in Chengdu, China, from 28 April to 1 May 2024. The top two teams from each group advanced to the knockout stage .
The 2024 BWF season is the overall badminton circuit organized by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) for the 2024 badminton season. The world badminton tournament in 2024 consists of: 1. BWF tournaments (Grade 1; Major Events) BWF World Team Championships (Thomas & Uber Cup) Olympics; 2. BWF World Tour (Grade 2) Level 1 (BWF World Tour Finals)

The 2024 Thomas Cup qualification process is a series of tournaments organised by the five BWF confederations to decide 14 of the 16 teams which will play in the 2024 Thomas Cup, with China qualifying automatically as hosts, India qualifying automatically as trophy holder.
The 2024 European Men's and Women's Team Badminton Championships will crown the best male and female national badminton teams in Europe and at the same time serve as the European qualification event towards the 2024 Thomas & Uber Cup to be held in Chengdu, China. [1] [2]
