Vision West Nottinghamshire College is the trading name of West Nottinghamshire College, a further education college having two main campuses in Mansfield, with smaller sites at nearby Sutton-in-Ashfield and Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, England.
It converted to academy status on 1 September 2009 and was renamed Nottingham University Samworth Academy. The school is sponsored by the University of Nottingham and businessman Sir David Samworth, [2] and is supported by the Torch Academy Gateway Trust, a trust which oversees other Nottinghamshire schools, including Meden School and Toot Hill School. The academy is built on the former site of a fire station, on the A52 Clifton Boulevard in Dunkirk, Nottingham. It was designed by Bond Bryan Architects for BAM Construction. It has a gross internal floor area of 8,600 square metres and cost £10 million. It was completed in 2014. [13]

Known for its reputatable GCSE and A-Level results, the academy received the second-best set of GCSE results from the Nottinghamshire LEA, tied with Rushcliffe School and behind Southwell Minster School. In 2010, Ofsted graded George Spencer "outstanding", the school having passed all 27 of the criteria. This grade was maintained in 2015.
