The first tour starting in 1969 and finishing with three dates in Europe in January 1970, was the first Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tour. The tour was notable for performing at many of the era's major festivals including their second ever gig, a one-hour show at the Woodstock Festival in the early morning of August 18, 1969, which was a baptism by fire for the group.
A single CD version was released in 2006 when CSNY began their Freedom of Speech '06 Tour. On the Graham Nash box set Reflections , released in February 2009, a recording of the track "In Your Name" from October 21, 2007, by the same band used for the Crosby & Nash album, including Crosby on backing vocals.
Reeves recorded and toured with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young from August 1969 to January 1970 and is credited on the cover of their 1970 Déjà Vu album; he appears with the group in the concert documentary Celebration at Big Sur (filmed in September 1969) and in contemporaneous television appearances on This Is Tom Jones and The Music Scene.
The folk-rock group Crosby, Stills & Nash have toured annually since 1990 with a few exceptions. In 2000, 2002 and 2006 they reunited with Neil Young to tour. Touring has tended to focus on North America, but the band have also played other parts of the world, notably Europe.
