Williams %R, or just %R, is a technical analysis oscillator showing the current closing price in relation to the high and low of the past N days (for a given N). It was developed by a publisher and promoter of trading materials, Larry Williams .
Williams had specific criteria for a buy or sell signal. A buy signal occurs when, Bullish divergence between price and the oscillator is observed, meaning prices make new lows but the oscillator doesn't; During the divergence the oscillator has fallen below 30.
The ADX is a combination of two other indicators developed by Wilder, the positive directional indicator (abbreviated +DI) and negative directional indicator (-DI). [2] The ADX combines them and smooths the result with a smoothed moving average.

Renko blocks (or bricks) are plotted using the following rules: [3] A brick size is determined, e.g. 10 points. All bricks are drawn to be of that size. Once the price surpasses the lower or upper border of the current brick by the brick size, a new brick is drawn either above or below the previous one, but never on the same line.
The Darcy-Weisbach equation was difficult to use because the friction factor was difficult to estimate. [7] In 1906, Hazen and Williams provided an empirical formula that was easy to use. The general form of the equation relates the mean velocity of water in a pipe with the geometric properties of the pipe and the slope of the energy line.
Williams’ central thesis in The Screenwriters Taxonomy: A Roadmap to Collaborative Storytelling is that the term “genre” is used so broadly to describe films that the modern use of the word has become meaningless. [2] The Screenwriter's Taxonomy proposes seven categories for discussing the creative process of telling cinematic stories. [3]
