These law universities were meant to offer a multi-disciplinary and integrated approach to legal education.
The Bangalore University has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council [5] in 2001 and awarded Five Star Status. [6] The university is a member [ 7 ] of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), [ 8 ] and has also received the recognition of University Grants Commission (UGC).
