Budhabare, more specifically Hadiya Budhabare [citation needed], is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Buddhashanti Rural Municipality in Jhapa district of Province No. 1 in south-eastern Nepal. The latest official data, 2011 Nepal Census, puts the total population of the VDC at 22,936. [1]
Budhabare is a village development committee in Dhankuta District in the Koshi Zone of eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 1954. [ 1 ]
Budhabare and Shantinagar which previously were all separate Village development committee merged to form this new local level body. Fulfilling the requirement of the new Constitution of Nepal 2015 , Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development replaced all old VDCs and Municipalities into 753 new local level body ( Municipality ).
