    Yes. Just send a request to support with: the area code you would prefer; the email address associated with the FaxBetter account on which you would like to add the local number.

    Once we begin the porting process, your number will continue to work as it does now. When the number is finally transfered to us, it takes less than 24 hours for us to configure the number for use with FaxBetter. So, you will be down for a day at the most.
