"Glad You Came", also known as "I'm Glad You Came", is a song by British-Irish boy band the Wanted, released on 24 May 2011 as the second single from their second studio album, Battleground. The song was written by Steve Mac , Wayne Hector and Ed Drewett , and was produced by Steve Mac.
Glad You Came [1] is the sixth studio album by American singer-songwriter Mario, it was released on December 13, 2024, through his New Citizen imprint with distribution from Epic Records. [2] This is his first studio effort since Dancing Shadows (2018) and his first album under a major label since D.N.A. (2009).
In early 2012, the Wanted achieved success in the United States and Canada with their single "Glad You Came" which became their second UK number-one. [1] It peaked at number three for four consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, the highest American chart entry by a British boy band at the time.
The music video for "Lightning" was director by Matt Stawski. The video was filmed in LA, and premiered on 22 September 2011, via the Wanted's YouTube channel. [5] The video features the members of the band performing during a rave, in a similar fashion to their "Glad You Came" video.
