I'm cross dominant; right handed, left eyed. I have always shot right handed with left eye closed. If I try to shoot both eyes open my left eye "gets in the way" and I can't see my sights except when I'm snap shooting with a fast draw. Fast draw pistol work I don't have time to think about closing one eye and it doesn't affect my scores.

both left hand. The eye doc says Shannon is right eye dominant. Franco says absolutely she's left eye dominant. Steve had to rent a camp rifle, a 30-06. Steve and I have been hunting and reloading together for going on 20 years now. I'm a better shot than he, but he's no slouch.

I have been shooting since childhood and am both left handed and left eye dominant. As scary as it sounds I can't use a lefty bolt to save my life, all of mine are right handed. When you are 15% of the population you learn to adapt. BTW way easier to sell a right handed gun of bow. my $0.02

John even took my little kids shooting with a .243, during the week. Like her father, my younger daughter is right handed but left eye dominant. The only difference is she can’t wink and hold the left eye closed. Her shooting style is a little unorthodox at the moment. But it worked.

New and flawless .416 Rigby. Has remained unfired since it left AHR. 23” barrel and 13.75” LOP. I usually shoot 14.25” but for some reason this feels great as is. I do have a new red 1.5” NECG pad I will include with the rifle. Would bring LOP to right at 14.25”. I have used this pad on other...

I ended up building a 450 Ackley on a Sako action. It was my first custom rifle. In 1998 I took it on a buffalo hunt in the Zambian Luangwa valley - one of the favourite hunts ...

My son is left eye dominant and we have always had him shoot left handed so they had a .270 left handed rifle for him to use. It was a German Blauser topped with a Redfield scope that was 6x-18x and 44mm objective. A little higher powered scope than would be ideal, but not a deal breaker.
