I had a similar problem with Asda's creation card where someone used my card details to book flights worth of 2500GBP from a travel company located in Greece. I lodged a fraud complaint and CC company came back and said, nope all is good as the person who purchased the flights had my details.

Basically I was scammed out money. I used the debit card dispute / chargeback scheme and got my money back. I think. Because apparently retailers can dispute your chargeback. How long does retailer have to dispute a chargeback claim? Sorry but there's no section for debit cards exactly.

Just ring the bank and start the process. 15 days is from the date of debit on your account. Just one thing to note, if they can prove delivery (and it does not have to be the correct address) that gives them grounds to reject the chargeback. Life in the slow lane. jsmith9 Posts: 419 Forumite.

Request the bank provide you with the delivery and billing addresses, along with the result of any 3dsecure authentication and the IP address from which the order was placed. The IP address (when reverse looked-up) will tell you the originating country (which you can then use to prove you weren't there).
