Ski Butternut, also known as Butternut Basin, is a ski resort in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, US, on Warner Mountain in The Berkshires. Channing and Jane Murdock took control of the area in 1963, naming the area Butternut Basin after the large groves of butternut trees in the basin of the mountain.

It was owned and operated by the Springfield Ski Club from 1936 until 2017, when it was sold to private hands, and was the oldest, continuously operating club-owned ski area in North America. In fall of 2017, Blandford underwent a private sale to Ski Butternut .
Satan's Ridge Ski Area opened with a Hall T-Bar in 1963. A second T-Bar would be added in 1965. The area later closed, before being reopened as Ski Sundown by Channing Murdock, owner of nearby Butternut Basin Ski Area. In 1977, a new Borvig triple chairlift was installed to the summit, currently named the Exhibition Triple.
The ski mountain is the flagship attraction at Holiday Valley. Today, the entire mountain holds 56 slopes and 13 ski lifts. Despite its relatively small size, the resort has experienced consistent growth since opening in 1958. Two hotels, the Inn at Holiday Valley and the Tamarack Club opened in which both hold condominiums and hotel rooms.
