Jordan River Off-Highway Vehicle State Recreation Area is a Utah State Park located in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. The park is dedicated to recreation with off highway vehicles. South Dakota Highway 240 (SD 240), also signed as the Badlands Loop, is a 40.033-mile-long (64.427 km) state highway in southeastern Pennington and northwestern Jackson counties in South Dakota, United States, that travels through the eastern portion of Badlands National Park.
The first resort, the Chehalis Thousand Trails location was first begun on 640 acres (260 ha) [3] and by the late 1970s, contained a pool and lodge. As of 2007, the campground is part of a nature reserve and contains 3,000 camp sites, a 100 foot (30 metres) Slip 'N Slide, and an open area known as Roy Rogers' Field, named in honor of the company's first spokesperson.
The recreation area sits on the western side of Hell Creek Bay and includes a year-round marina and facilities for water sports, camping, and fishing for walleye, northern pike, and smallmouth bass. [2] The park is managed under a no-cost lease arrangement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. [5]
Attica is located along the Wabash River in Logan Township. U.S. Route 41 , State Road 28 , and State Road 55 intersect at Attica. According to the 2010 census, Attica has a total area of 1.6 square miles (4.14 km 2 ), all land.
The trail system was originally named Black Mountain Recreation Park. In 2008, it was renamed to Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Park and then subsequently Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area. Evarts Trailhead, one of the trail systems two trailheads, was originally named Bailey Creek Trailhead. [8]
