Kuala Perlis (Kedah Malay: Kola Peghelih; Jawi: كوالا ڤرليس) is a suburb of Kangar and the second-largest town in and the main port of Perlis in Malaysia. It is in extreme northwest Peninsular Malaysia, near the border with Thailand. The older part of town has houses and mosques built on stilts over mangrove swamps.
The present-day ferry terminal was named after the then Sultan of neighbouring Kedah, Sultan Abdul Halim. He was also twice elected as the King of Malaysia (Malay: Yang di-Pertuan Agong) - between 1970 and 1975, and between 2011 and 2016.
