Keep getting "Access Denied" on IDES website. When I try to view payment history, file certification or do anything in that drop-down menu on the upper right corner, all I get is this: (won't even take me to the page to enter user name and password)
I could not log in to the IDES website to certify. I got redirected to that wonky dark gray website which didn’t work either. My password was not being entered incorrectly. I was told I was locked out due to too many failed login attempts on a white screen with the code HPDIA0306W. I waited a half hour, tried again. Same problem.

Don't certify for weeks that you are back to work. Both as instruction and a warning. They will not give you the funds if you don't certify. If you certify for the benefits while you're working they will find out and you'll have to repay that amount + any penalty before you can get the benefits again. Congrats on going back to work.
Yes this has been happening to a large number of us, not all..according to another post IDES is aware of their problem..if and when it will be resolved is truly up to them..so meanwhile you can certify thru TeleServe only if u have a valid pin..or get on the call back list which last time took 4 weeks to call back..it’s a damn shame IDES knows this and is taking forever to get fixed so ppl ...
I’ve been on unemployment since September, was approved, and have been filing on my date (Tuesday) every two weeks since I’ve been approved. Yesterday, I went to certify and the IDES website said I had not certified in 28 days and need to reopen a claim which is false.

In fact, you will receive the IDES letter (showing state benefit ineligible) on a monthly basis-don't panick, you will still be able to certify for PUA benefits. The Benefit Amount, is the monetary amount that is allocated to you for a particular Benefit Period. For example effective application date: 09/01/2020 ending 03/01/2021.

What you are referencing is if say you were getting partial unemployment and had 1 day worked and used 4 days PTO to make up 40 hours. PTO paid out at termination is considered severance pay. Source: Illinois Unemployment Insurance Law Handbook (via Google, link won't stick here).
