61st Street Bait & Tackle, 1813 61st St, Galveston, TX.(409)744-2248 Nash's Bait Camp, 125 Boddeker Rd, Galv, Tx. 409 621 1515 West Bay Marina, 6019 Sea Isle, Galv. Tx. 409 737 3636
The pier on your right at Offat's Bayou on 61st Street as you drive east towards the beach after you turn off of the I-45 feeder road. Also most of the bait shops along there will let you crab off of their docks if you buy a beer or two. (never a problem ) The small pier under the 146 bridge by the ramp at Dickinson Bayou.

Left the house at about 6am (610 & S. Post Oak area)... missed the exit to Buccee's. (Almost did a u-turn, but thought.. "Nah, getcha on my way back). I think this is Pocket 7 West Beach looking East then the next is ...

Yes, the little flat with mangroves between the bridge and the fishbones pier where the Osprey goes out of. You can park by the pier, and wade from that side, or park right on the shoulder at the end of the bridge, or on the little connectors by the statue of the padre and the South Padre sign. I see guys there all the time.
One such place for this in the Clear Lake area is along sides of 2nd Street in the City of Seabrook. Whiting, croaker, hardheads and blue crab can be had there along with the odd redfish, and there is nice planting, benches and it's paved. Great place to take kids. Kids like crabbing almost as much as they do fishing.
limited out today on trout. also found my first snook and little red. Tried fishing tabletop, but was totally unprepared for weeds in very shallow and crystal clear water. Paddled around, saw few reds, got out of water around 1pm. there was no activity in south bay, but a lot of bait in the channel how do you fish tabletop -- topwater? P.S.
