The municipality identifiers are '1' for Mississauga, '2' for Brampton, and '3' for Caledon. For example, Station 201 would be Brampton's no. 1 station and P201 would be a pumper assigned to it, and so on. The Peel Regional Police (PRP) provides policing services for Peel Region (excluding Caledon) in Ontario, Canada. It is the second largest municipal police service in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, and the third largest municipal force behind the Toronto Police Service, with 2,200 uniformed members and close to 875 support staff.
Brampton City Council is the governing body for the City of Brampton, Ontario. It consists of the mayor of Brampton (currently Patrick Brown), five elected regional councillors and five elected city councillors. Each councillor represents two city wards. The council meets at Brampton City Hall.
